First, get Azura's Star. I'll tell you why in a second. Next, open your map. Look near the Imperial City for Lake Rumore. Look south of that until you see an island with a road running through it. If you follow the road to the west, there should be a fork in the road. Go there. There should be an Ayleid Ruin called Vindasel. Go inside and keep going deeper until you find a woman named Umbra. Save, then kill her. She is fast and powerful. Keep hacking at her until she falls. If you are skilled in heavy armor, go ahead and take hers. It is ebony, the second best. Definitely get her sword, Umbra. It weighs nothing and is extremely powerful. I have a blade skill of 26, and it does 8 damage. A glass claymore does 7. Its enchantment is what you want- soul trap for 120 seconds on strike. It has a ton of charges, too. Remember Azura's Star? It's a soul gem that never breaks. You do the math: kill something with Umbra; trap it's soul with Azura's Star; recharge your magical items; rinse and repeat.
