If your having trouble defeating any enemy in the game you should try to get a unique scimitar called "windshear". It has an enchantment that stumbles any enemy that you attack with the weapon, even dragons. Additionally bash attacks have a 100% chance of knocking enemies down. It is found on a ship called The Katariah, which can only be accessed during or after the Dark Brotherhood quest "Hail Sithis!". To get to the sword, proceed onto the main deck of the boat. Follow the stairs that lead to the front of the ship. Here there is a long wooden beam protruding from the bow. Carefully walk up the beam to the top where Windshear will be visible, wedged into the wood. The sword may be floating in the air just below the wooden beam. If this happens, all you have to do is shoot it down with a bow, then retrieve it from the water. Hope this helped!
