Question for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Hi, in skyrim I'm stuck trying on the quest shalidors insights, I'm in the cave/den the it's telling me to enter but I cannot find away of getting up the waterfall to follow the next tunnel, so my question is how do I get up the waterfall???

Alright, unfortunately for this quest the book can be hidden in any of 141 locations, so I am not entirely sure that the location you are in was the same as mine. However it does sound similiar. So I would walk back down the little tunnel you came in by and eventually reach the place where another tunnel opens up. In this tunnel should be a small wooden deck where a bandit was. It should also end in a dead end (rocks block way).

If this is the case there should be another smaller tunnel leading into a small room where the book is at.

I know this is a very old thread but if anyone stumbles across this question again like I did I think I got the answer. If you are in Stony Creek Cave stuck at a waterfall. Literally the only way to get up is by jumping up there with the Vampire Lord. Then you will find your book on the other side.
