Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

OK does anyone know why I would'nt be able to wear the ring of the vipereye I think it may have something to do with my infamy {21} but I don't know how to decrease it. Also has anyone seen this green squre I picked up in shivering isles all it says is "name missing" I can't equip it and I don't know what it's for

I don't really understand you. Are you saying that you can't wear the Ring of the Vipereye? If so there shouldn't be any problem equipping it, no matter what your infamy is. And objects such as the green squares will appear in Shivering Isles when the download is interrupted a number of times. (Slow internet, Packet Loss, etc.) If the main quest of SI is glitchy and you cannot complete it, or you find that something important is also missing from SI you should definitely delete it and download it again. Do this at your own risk. If you have any saved games in SI, exit SI and save in the Imperial City. Also drop any items from SI that you may be carrying.
