Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

During the quest "Aid for Bruma" I went to chedinhal to get aid but first I had to save the count's son from the oblivion gate outside of chedinal, but while doing so I accidently killed his son.Now the count wont let me buy a house he just says"how dare you talk to me after slaying my son"

I can't persuade him either

So the question is how do I buy a house in chedinhal

You can't unless you start over the game.

Get into the Arcane University and make a spell that will charm him to 100 without any range and only for 5 seconds, it should only require an illusion skill of 25, and cast it on the Count, see if it works. I apologize if it doesnt.

Jackieboy Tips:

Firstly, watch where you point your sword in future (haha) but on a serious note a spell should work.

Try going to the Bravil Mages Guild because they specialize in Illusion Magic. Try to find someone who will sell you a Spell that raises the target's Disposition. Failing that go to the Arcane University and create a Spell at the Alter of Spellmaking. Be warned you must be an Apprentice in the Mages Guild to access the University.

Hope I helped
