Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Ok does anyone know where the Unlock Average Lock spell is? Like where do I go to get it? Some one please tell me I really need it. Oh and where do I go to get the skeleton key? Do I have to be like a certain level to do the quest or what?? And is getting the skeleton key hard???

1. I don't know where you can buy an unlock average lock spell.
2. The skelton key can be obtained by doing the Nocturnal Daedric Shrine quest. To get there follow the road out of Leyawiin on the east side (right) and follow that road up north. Its a pretty good was north on that road and it's off to the right side of the road. The required level to start this quest is 10, but you don't need an offering to start the quest either. It isn't hard to do the quest Nocturnal asks of you.

No, there is not an average lock spell in Oblivion. I have looked for them everywhere and I can't find it anywhere. And also, I do not know where the skeleton key is. At least i answered one question!!!!!

The only way I got an open average lock spell is by going to the arcane uny and by doing all the tasks and by becoming arch mange leader of all the mages guilds and then you can creat you're own spells I hope it helps

The Unlock Average Lock Spell is in the Bruma mages guild. Alderon (the guy you had to talk to in order to find the invisible member) has it for sale, but you have to get it fairly early, before the end of the mages guild story line.
(Its there in my game, I don't know if it would be there in yours, sorry if it isn't.)

Getting the skeleton key is extremely easy. You need to do the Daedric quest for Nocturnal. You must have reached level 10 in order to do this quest. The shrine is near Leyawiin, so search around in that general area. The quest is really easy, all you need to do is spy on some thieves and retrieve what Nocturnal wants. You will have the Skeleton Key.
