No oblivion gates to shut?

Okay so I started a fresh new game I'm at lvl 10. I just completed the quest "Weynon priory" where you take martin and jauffre to cloud ruler temple well we all know after that quest a bunch of oblivion gates are all over the place if we find them. Well the spots where I know there should be obivion gates are not there at all. I put in a good 1hr and a half going around the whole map and there is no oblivion gates to shut. WHATS GOING ON WITH THIS GAME? I have encountered 5 problems with this game. Is it my game play or is it just the game it self? Plz help

The oblivion gates do not start to appear until Martin agrees to go with you to Weynon Priory when you close the Kvatch Oblivion Gate an d free the town.

Yes I already did that I took him to cloud ruler temple where they just made him the next king. That's when all the gates should be popping up but I see nothing

I'm not sure if you even play this game anymore, but if you do, cool beans. I had the same problem, I started the quest and dropped the guys off at Cloud Ruler Temple, and couldn't find any gates. I found a map of all the gates possible. There are 100 possible gates, 60 of which only show at once, so try a new spot. Http://images.uesp.net//6/6b/Oblivion_gates_map.jpg

They don't start till after the shrine of dagon or what ever quest. You still have about 4 more to go

I have the same problem and I feel like I killed so many people before I delivered the amulet one of them must have been necessary for the gates to appear
