Question:

Daedric Shrines

Date of Question: Jun 30 2009 | Question ID: 143645

I was doing the daaedric shrines yesterday and encountered a problem. I was wondering if you keep Umbra instead of giving it to clavicus vile, does that count as "passing" that shrine so I can do Hermaeus Mora's quest later on?im trying to get my character to lvl 100 with the Oghma Infinium.

Comment:(Jul 2 2009) to wrassmussen:getting lvl 100 is NOT impossible, you just have to know how to do it. i know someone with a lvl 250+ character, and it is not attained by using console cheats[this being the 360]its done by using multiple oghma infiniums[which is an ingame glitch], alot of jail time and training glitches.

I think it does count. Save and try it, but if it doesn't work then you'll have to give up Umbra. I don't know how you can get to level 100, but good luck.

No, I checked, you can choose what ever item of the two you want, and still be able to do the mission,
And let me rephrase my previous comment, you can't get lv 100 without cheats or glithes

You can keep it and Hermaeus Mora won't have a problem with it.
Lucky, because Umbra rocks and the mask sucks.

Its a fairly simple idea to get to level 100 but hard to do. The best way is to get all your major skills up WITHOUT training or skill books. Then make a drain skill 100 points on self spell. Use it next to a a trainer and train. After you get to 100 (again)you may need to use the spell a lot then use the skill books. Now you are past 200 on your major skills.
