Question:

shivering isles quest trouble

Alright, well I was playing the shivering isles questline the other day and got to the mission where you have to reactivate xedilian. I got sidetracked and went off on my own little escapade, and while doing that something went wrong. I did the glitch where you attack an unarmed person with the Skull of Corruption at there feet so they use it against you, thus allowing you to kill your evil clone and glitch into his inventory. While doing this I took from the inventory the "resonator of judgement" the thing used to activate the pillar inside of xedilian. I now have two resonators, and whenever I try to activate the pillar it does not work. I'm wondering is it because I have two resonators? I cannot drop one as it is a quest item. Iv done alot of things to try and undo it, like uninstalling shivering isles, which did not work. Will someone please give me some suggestions so as to undo what I have done? I would very much like to continue with the questline.

P.S:my character is a lvl 37 mage, my best character, so do not suggest I make a new character.

My guy is level 45, and I didn't use any glitches. My advice is don't use them again. Sorry, but it looks like you're screwed unless you're missing something. I can't remember very well, but aren't there these things you have to collect or activate first? I don't know what else to say, I haven't played in so long. I hope you find a solution and stop using glitches.

I think you can delete the expansion and redownload it, then everthing from the expansion will be gone, but you have to redo the missions

Wrassmusson is right. You have to delete the expansion and save it while it is deleted. Then re download it and re-do the quest line. If you don't save it after you delete it then it's just like you didn't delete it. Don't worry you can still use the same character. Haha
