1. No there are no more unfinsihed staffs.
2. Those are hellhounds, and I don't remember a friendly one.
3. Yes there is some kind of dew you have to drink to get through a cave of those tree things(forgot name).
4. Dementia is way better. When you kill the current duchess you get her cool hammer, and you get to kill some guards along the way.
P.S.. No unfortunately Bethesda is busy with Fallout right now.

1.there is one you find on the one of the last missions for shivering islesand it goes with an eye to make the a king/queen type staff
2.yes there is a dog you get from as ork (i don't think you can get it if you are argonian) none in tamrial
3.yes it has an addictive quality to it and you constantly need more until you get it cured (at the end of the mission) you get it from a bug creature
4.depends on what you want, you still get to kill both but the acheivement for the one you chose(i recemend saving an doing both for acheivements and to see which one you want)it also determines missions up ahead like which side you help and the armor they give you
5. Have no idea, bethesda has been working on fallout 3 and the expansions

Wrasmusson answered them pretty well but for question 4
I think that the duke of dementia is better because during that story you gain access to a secret area. And for question 5 A Bethesda director made no final comment but said it would be dumb on their part to ignore the elder scrolls series. This is from "attack of the show". Keep in mind those are not his exact words.
