Shivering Isles Armour/ Character Choosing

Hey,
 Does anyone know whether you can get the gold armour that the ?guards? (i think their guards) are wearing?
 And is it heavy or light.
 
 Also I want to be a warrior(ish) character but I'm too crazed by what my character looks like and seem to be starting a new game every 2 weeks because of it. It sounds silly but does anyone have any ideas about character choosing and have a "good looking" character they'd like to show off.
 Help would be extremely appriciated

Ok for the gold armour you have to be not the duke but the other person I think it was dementia well you have to be the person with the black armour and just complete the shivering isle storyline and you shall get the gold armour but if you wanted the black armour you would have to become the duke of mania. For your other question I have kinda the same problem but I have got along with the thought of being like a battlemage cause there kinda cool and it's a good mix of combat.

Ok, for the golden saints armor you must be the duke of Dementia and you'll get a quest where you defend there outpost or castle or something along those lines and there leader gives you the armor... It's Heavy Armor. But theres also Amber Armor in the blacksmith of Bliss that you can use thats some of the best armor in the game the amber armor is light

And I got an AWESOME looking Imperial guy whos wearing some dark armor and a mace

For the first part you can be anything you want it is just after a quest IF your character is a GIRL and it is a heavy armor
