Just a quick question

I'm just looking for the highest soul gem, with a soul already filling it. I've found a lot of empty ones. And can only fill them up to petty. Is there another soul gem thats higher than grand. HELP!!!

In a Display Case (Very Hard lock) in the Arcane University in the Imperial City, there are 3 Grand Soul Gems. 2 of them have grand souls in them already.
If you want to fill your Grand Soul Gems with grand souls, you need to defeat strong monsters, like a Lich. Of course, most strong monsters won't appear until you reach a certain level.

Grand Soul Gems are the highest grade of Soul Gems. Black Soul Gems are equivalent to Grand Soul Gems, but they are used for trapping NPC souls.

Black Mamba 19 answered:

Grand is the highest, but you can get Azura's Star which traps any soul and use it over again. Get glow dust from a Will-o-Wisp and offer it at dusk. Do what she asks you and you'll get it.
