I've completed oblivion and got all the achievements and I've never ever seen a dragon so there probably isn't one. When you're soul trapping you have to kill the creature before the spell runs out and have a big enough soul gem or it won't work. I've heard a lot of people complain about this but as I've never done the quest I'm not sure what going wrong, maybe it's some sort of glitch.

Nope no dragons, Akatosh , at the end is the only dragon in the game. Soul trapping as explained by gamesmaster is the only way to do so. Now the cure for vampirism, I think hundreds of gamers suffered the same frustration, here's why: the bug occurs when you give the ingredients to the witch in the wrong order for me, I gave her the nightshade and garlic but had no bloodgrass yet so she sent me to kill the ancient vampire and I brought her the dust and then went to look for the bloodgrass and when I bring it to her she dosent acknowledge the bloodgrass. When you speak to her the items are in a particular order you need to give her the ingredients in that EXACT same order finishing with the vampire dust then and only then can you complete the quest. What a gyp! Huh?
