Date of Question: Mar 24 2008 | Question ID: 113663 But that still dosnt explain why the messenger dosnt come to me even though I fenced over 2000 to another fence (the quest independant theivery dosnt even update it still tells me that I have fenced over 800 and should wait for a messenger but fathes ules's marker still appeares on the map) or do I have to fence over 1000 to fathes ules. Could this problem have anything to do with me stealig all the things in the display cases in bruma? (i think it was bruma) I stole back a stone and all the other things that you find for that quest from pale pass for the queen and I sold it to the fence in anvil castle. |
It has nothing to do with what you stole or were. It also doesnt matter who you stole it to. Independent thievery will update after you do the quest and now for the biggie. It's hard. It happened to me twice and I had to start the faction over the first time but the second I just talked to fences alot and eventually you can do the quest BUT I was never able to fence to fathes ules. It took a while but it should fix itself maybe go to a difrent faction for now.
