Thieves guild problem
Okay I just got the boots of springheeled jack given them to the gray fox and completed the quest but it dosnt tell me that I have to fence over 1000 it just says that I have fenced over 800 and I have to wait for a messenger to come and contact me. I have fenced over 2000 and when I talk to fathes ules or something he just says that I have made my choice and I'm to go away what is he talking about and people say he is supposed to be in the imperial city but I only find him in chorrel is there a way to fix my problem.

You must have completed the 'sins of the father' quest and given the sword to the guy in chorrol castle and not fathis ules, so that's why he says that. No, you can't it.
