how can u put the pelts in your home?
giski84 answered:

I have played oblivion alot and have completed many missions and am at level 45. All I can say is you can sell the pelts for money, or on some daedric shrine and sidequest missions you will need them in exchange for mission information or to complete the mission. For example I am at master level in my blade. I had a mission to find tamriels best blade trainer some where in the forest, I found her and I had to give her 20 bear pelts, you will encounter other missions in the game with the same concept. My advice to you would be to sell them now and if you need them later either buy them or kill more creatures, or you can just save some in one of your houses. Hope this answers your question.

Don't forget that the are needed to get back into the fighters guild if you are thrown out. I would definatly keep them in your house. The best house is skingrad in my opinion because you can get alot of display cases. Weeee I love to decorate my home.

You can sell them or use them in Daedric Shrines
