Vampirism

Question asked by dog2345 on

Vampirism

I have two questions:

1.)Can Argonians catch vampirism from fighting vampires?

2.)I have the Vile Lair content and I was wondering, if you are a vampire and use the altar to cure yourself, can you become a vampire again?

Thanks!

Demonsbayne answered:

Yes Argonians can catch vampirism, my favorite character is actually an Argonian vampire. As for your second question, thats where things get touchy. I've had a Breton that was cured of vampirism and then contracted it again from a lair of vampires. But I've had friends who told me they can't get vampirism back no matter what you do, so I'd say if you want to try just make sure you have a save game file from before you attempt, just in case.

Vendetta answered:

Ok mate for your second question it's true you can get vampirism again but you will have to collect all the ingredients for the vampirism potion again. When you get cured of vampirism it doesn't work like Corperus in Morrowind, because when you get cured of vampirism all the symptoms go away and so do all the attributes.

Vendetta to all!!!!!!!

dc chais answered:

Vendetta there is no way to become a vampire once you do the vampire cure quest. You can catch the disease but it will never manifest to make you a vampire. Nor can you do the quest again to make another potion.
