Vampire glitch???

Okay, stupid move on my part. I became a vampire. I am in the process of getting the stuff for the cure, but I killed the vampire, got his ashes, then brought them to the old lady and when I speak to her, the ashes are not in the inventory. I can't even ask her about the ashes. Do I have to go back? And where the heck do I find bloodgrass? Its so hard to only travel at night, and I can't speak with anyone because they are all afraid of me. Can anyone help?

Leprekorn answered:

You can find bloodgrass outside Oblivion gates, and in Oblivion realms

If you are the Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild, you can just use your enchanted chest to multiply the bloodgrass, otherwise I think you need to find ten portions of it

Ooo ok that is a hard one, I don't understand why the ashes arn't in your inventory that seems a little weird, I just completed that quest and I'm not exactly sure if I remember seeing the ashes in my inventory, I'm sure if you keep checking they will be in there though.
Now when you get back to her I'm pretty sure you just ask about the Vampire cure again and she'll take the ashes off your hands leaving garlic, nightshade, and bloodgrass highlighted.
The bloodgrass is the patches of red grass you see in Oblivion which can only be found by going through an Oblivion gate, or you could copy what I did which is by going the nearest Mages guild (hopefulli your already a member) go into their living quarters, make sure no one is watching and feed off of one of the mages, if everyone's asleep nothing will happen to you. Then speak to every Mage until you find the one that sells potions and ingrediants. Bloodgrass will only cost you $2 or you could be lucky enough to find it in a shop depending on what city your in, bloodgrass is pretty common in shops. Anyway after you revert back to Vampirism (25) it should be alot easier to come across seeing as you'll be able to move around in the daylight again

Well I can help you with the sun and the people not talking to you problem.just bite someone that is sleeping and people wont be afraid of you and you will be able to walk on daylight until vampirism happen again
