When my friend and I were playing on co-op, we decided to have a look at the junkyard because we've never been there before. We got both of the cars out and made the road. Then I got out of my car and went towards my friend's car, while he was in it. Then my hand (real life) flinched for some strange reason, pressing [x] and [y] and nudging the right stick slightly. This made my character walk off, and I couldn't move. When my friend got out of the car, he was walking aroung like a normal character, but I was the actual car, with no driver, driving around! When I paused the game because it tells you your characters name, the blue avatar thing was empty, and there was a question mark where the name should be.

I thought that this happened because I shot my friend, and just as he was forced to get out of the car, I tried to get in, ending up wih my character being switched with the car.

Thanks to anyone who has figured out if it was a part of the game or a glitch and also to anyone who can find out if I can do it again.
