Saving as you play
Is there any way to save the game as you play? Everytime I die I have to start over again at the checkpoint and have to kill all the things all over again?

Sorry you can only save when you reach the check points or at the end of the mission. As you progress through the level you unlock more check points so you don't have to start from the start. Not the most enjoyable game style I agree.

All saving does is save your proud souls, skills, the LEVEL you're on (Not the progress through it), Red Skulls, Health, and items.

actually if he used gold orbs he could come back to the exact same spot he died
