I didn't use any tricks for the achievement, just tried to aim as best I could. I just barely unlocked it too, I got it on the last few Zeros haha. Just keep trying your best, good luck to you.

All I did was try to aim in front and kill as many as I could and if you still can't do it you can go to youtube.com and search sum of all zeros achievment and find a good video

I think on vetran there are more zeros so you could try that, also don't worry about rescuing survivors when going for the achivement
