Help ending 'Eviction'

For the last few weeks I have been unable to complete a certain part of 'Eviction'. Basically I get to the section when I have worked my way through the tunnell in the subway and meet up with the rest of my group (about 3 others) and I am left standing in the water firing at the enemy from behind a baracade. I understand that at this time water should come down the tunnel to complete this section but this dosen't happen in my game. I have tried everything to end this but nothing happens despite how many enemies I kill. When I have played a co-op campaing on xbox live I notice that one of my men goes over to the door to the left of the barricade and tried to open it before the water comes, but not on my solo campaign. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have tried everything suggested on other forums. I'm starting to think the game may have a fault. Cheers

Well, you HAVE to kill most enemies for the guy to force open the door
