How do you get past the ting in front of the vulcer base

Place a garenade in the pile of corpces than add the odor thing from the severed arm
Do you mean the Rancor? If so use your mines and grenades. I like to stealth in with Jovani and plant mines right under his feet then get her clear and lure him into the landmines by showing him an unstealthed character. Good luck!
Stick a grenade (I use concussion because I use them least) in the pile of corpses, and then stick the Synthesized Odor in. Assuming you grabbed the Synthesized Odors from the Severed Arm in front of the Rancor Pit. Anyway, the rancor will come and eat the Odor and Grenade, and then it dies. It's funny, really.
You don't even need to stick a grenade in the pile because it already has some in it. In fact, you can take the stuff out and just put one grenade and the smell thing back in. Then you get the other stuff.
