how to complete the sith final test

Date of Question: Jun 25 2008 | Question ID: 121640 Well I've been wanting to be a sith now I can, but I'm just stuck on the final test. I have to kill these huge monsters called tarentateks and I can't seem to find a way to kill them.... If you can, please help me get through the final test. Please help asap

These mnonsters are very hard to kill, that is why I always get the korriban map last since by this time I am at lvl. 20. All you can do is to try and try aghain, I found it easier to where a good armor while doing this because the force is not much help here.

K an easy way to degeat them is whaen you wal into the room just chuck a grenade at them and get them to come to that end of the room. When they start to come toward you, run around them and head to the end of the room they just vacated and pull the lever and get into the room. In here you will find two special grenades, fire and ice, you will need the ice grenade to freeze the river of acid to get to the room to get the special Sith Saber, just a fancy lightsaber.whaen you get the grenades just stand in the door and just hit and run on the tatentaeks. Again to get to the room use the ICE grenade.

If you are a light side character, use Master Speed to attack one then run away. Keep attacking and running away until they're dead. Heal yourself when you're out of their attack range. If you are a Jedi Guardian, use the force jump attack after you have ran away from them. Don't bother with Force Wave because they will save against it nearly all the time.
If you are dark side, force lightening and death field make it a little easier, but you still need to follow a hit-and-run tactic. Insanity works well against them too.

Ok I had the same problem fighting them so I took a chance and stealthed.if you have stealth do it and find the switch. And activate it.its in one of the corners. Now if you get detected just run into the door you opened with the switch. There are two pillars activate them and you 2 grenades. So now if ya noticed the 2 teranitaks can't get in! So you can use blasters and force poweres to kill them. It may take a good 10 minutes to get them but at least ya wont die.
Now take the 2 grenades and if ya go back to the acid pool throw the ice grenade in.

Use an adhensive grenade to get them stuck then just keep throwing grenades at them

There is a switch on the rights side by the monster.You simply pull the switch and walk into the room open the bins take the gernades and run out of the room.
