Yeah,just run close beside them and usually they will run into something, this works about 60% of the time. On some races they will crash you.

I've noticed that the CPU drivers usually don't like being hit while driving, so what you have to do is make them move closer to the side of the road and they will usually crash into something.

You do this by getting beside them and keep hitting their car to the side of the road (they will swerve everywhere trying to avoid you). The results may differ because of difficulty level.

Yes just run into the back of them to turn them around.

Yes you can crash them. And there a a few different ways to do this. You can ram the back of their car and keep pushing them, this will make them turn completly around a go the wrong way. You can get up beside them and continue ramming them untill they run into something, this will usually stop them completely. You can also get up beside them and get a little ahead of them, then rame them where you hit their front tire, this will usually cause them to spin out and take a while to get back on track. This is only three ways to crash them, I'm sure there are tons of ways you can do this. Just experiment with it. Hope this helps.
