I need help beating baron in the drag race it seems imposable to beat him

There isnt alot of cars to hit in that one when it is straight run just use n02 and go right past him and when you beat him make sure you get his car it is really fast.

At the starting on the race the car that I have the engine always breaks down I want to know why is that and what kind of engine do I need or car to beat him and prevent my car to break down

Shifting is the key. Settings will tell you the key/button, then you race like normal,except you don't use the turny thingy too much.

The answer is Simple.. While in the "Drag Race" press the "Shift key" when the Green or Blue markers appear in the middle of the screen and use the Nitrous for that extra speed . This tip is only for Computer users.

Shift up your gear by "y" and the engine will cool down and it will not blow

Its easy, just beat him lol, well get a good car and when you see oncoming traffic just tap right or left to dodge SIMPLE :/

When the race begin immidiatly hit the "shift key". Then use you full tank of nitro. Then all you have to do is hit "shift key" every time the green or blue appears and not run into anouther car. It might take a couple of trys... Good luck

see... i have tried this many times ... whenever i press shift key the engine does not blow .... but this is not helping me to beat baron..!! hes just damn fast..!!! its extremely difficult to beat him... but thnxxx. now i know about the shift key and atleast i can complete the race :P ... i will try meh best to beat him..!! :D

On a pc, to shift up is the 'SHIFT' key. To shift down is the 'CTRL' key. I suggest you use the two buttens that are on the left side of the keyboard. Once you start the drag race with Baron, shift up and then use your nitrous so you can regain your speed from gear 2. Then nitrous more to not let him pass. Save some of your nitrous if you need it later. DO NOT waste it. It comes in handy a lot. Dodge all cars and nitro if you have too. On my pc, I never knew anything about drifting. All I knew was turn left of turn right. If I can beat him like that, I bet you can do it too.

I am looking for answers on how to shift gears on Need For Spped Most Wanted for the Xbox, not the computer, version. Now what button on the Xbox controler allows you to switch gears in drag races?.

Try going under the truck. Baron might hit the truck's wheels and get totaled. Then just sprint to the finish.
