Question for Halo: Combat Evolved

On the level, Pillar of Autumn, I know how to get to the "Bloody Heart" written on the ceiling.

It has an "M" written in it with assault rifle bullets.

Does anyone know the significance of this "M"? Or is it just an easter egg?

It's supposed to be a token of love from a marine to his wife.

Pretty stupid that he killed himself to make it.

I guess his wife died.

It was a gift from a man to his woman from the producers of Halo.

Jaime Griesmer, a designer of Halo,to his girlfriend Meg Saki.

It was a hunt made by many loyal Halo fans in March and April of 2003.

It was never meant to be made public but a gift to his girlfriend.

The Meg Egg (or Megg) was the last easter egg to be found in halo 1. Many many hints and clues and riddles were posted on some forums from meg about it's location. It is hard to get to, but it's a heart in blood and a m for Meg.

The producers put in the easter eggs to show there love to there wive and girl friends, there are these easter eggs in all the halo games
