 Like when you're going to run over someone, they try to jump out of the way.
 
 How do you do it?

You cannot roll at all. I have beaten the game in legendary about 20 times and have never seen the the master chief roll.

I don't think it is possible to "tuck and roll" with the Master Chief.

(You mean like how the marines roll out of the way when you are going to run them over?)

It is an impossible action to perform...
