Nope, In halo 1 they have very different designs for the interior of the ship, plus when they drop off troops, they drop them off from the safety of 100 feet in the air(Ouch, poor wee' grunt legs). Also, what do you mean like on the level halo? Alas it's been a while since I've played this game, I assume you mean on Halo 2 or Halo 3, where the interiors are able to be climbed into.

No you can't, you manage to hold on for a couple of seconds then fall off.
