How to Make Explorer Always Show the Full Path in Windows 8

In older versions of Windows the Title Bar used to display your current location in the file system.
this is not the default in Windows 8, however you can enable it.

  1. Press the Windows + E keyboard combination to open Windows Explorer and then switch over to the View tab.


  2. Click on options to open Folder Options


  3. When the Folder Options dialog opens, switch over to the View options and you will need to tick the Display the full path in the title bar check box Click Apply to save changes


  4. That’s all
