I think I know what you are talking about. In the first area you are in, you need to go by the bridge where you have to attack the rock to be able to climb up. Do not go over the bridge yet. To your right there will be two metal things on the other side. You need r2d2 and a bounty hunter to do this. When you get in the area, I believe you need to use the force to get up on the ledge in the back. When you get on the ledge in the back take a left and you should see a passage that when you go through it, you can use r2d2 to cross and get your minikit. Hope this helps!
