I was playing a match on cliffside, as the americans, and there was a blue thing with a white X next to my name. It said "you are currently in able squad mode" then somebody left and it said "you are able squad leader".
What's able squad mode?
What benefits or disadvantages does it have?
How does it occur?

If it was in a big blue circle that happened to me and another teamate in hanger it didnt say anything so I thaught my allies were just using wii-speak or something
But sorry I don't know. Can you use wii-speak online though
Ya if you have any freinds that you invited to your party and you are playing with them it will say that. All it means is that you are playing with a freind.
When you go into an online match you can start a group also called a squad. While in the game if someone like your skills they can go to there leader board menu and join. This will put the people of the group in a party and when searching for games you will all be together and when in a match all on the same team.
Long time ago I was in the able squad I didn't know what it meant then I knew it means the game thinks your pro and will put you in the able squad and in the in game map when you chose your class it says the names under the people who are in the able squad to get in the able squad you have to not have lots a deaths and get lots of kills.
