Need for Speed Most Wanted Full Review

Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a great racing game for anyone who as liked previous Need For Speed titles or the likes of Juiced, Street Racing Syndicate and Midnight Club etc. It takes you through three regions making you tackle cops, cars and the prestigious Blacklist. There are 15 Blacklist Racers and your mission is to work your way to the top, defeating their punishing tasks and challenges and then eventually challeging them and defeating them. Your main rival, Razor is Blacklist #1 and you must work your way up to defeating him.

The cars are brilliant. They look superb and can be modded down to the finest tune. The cutscenes brilliantly mix a mixture of real-life and computer animation into one. It looks superb. Lastly, the effects of crashes and slow mostion "air-time" looks really good and is very effective.

The cars sound very realistic and the music soundtrack blends very well with the game. Its only downfall is that the tracks are limited and can get a bit repetetive, but nontheless, this really makes little differece and the games sound quality is still top notch.

Excellent. There is so much to do. Working your way up the blacklist is a great edge to the game and the cars feel really neat to drive. The multiplayers adds more depth and the "free car modification" addition is really cool, letting you mod up rides for free in arcade mode.

This game will take you a while. There are lots of tasks and as you get further through the Blacklist, the challenges become bloody hard. The cars and missions are great and will have you hooked for hours, plus, with all those cars to mod, you will be playing for time.

Also the 60+ challenges will take you ages to complete, leaving you with with more than enough playing time for your cash.

Excelellent game and very hard in parts but effectively done. Everything seems to string together brilliantly in this game and it really shows itself in the great end product. The only downfalls as I say are that sometimes the game gets really hard and it can take some time to get through certain challenges in the game are difficult but all in all Need For Speed: Most Wanted is an excellent game and a must buy for any car fan.
