Fans of the DBZ series have been waiting for this sequel to see more characters and a better adventure system. Fortunetly, they won't be disapointed. DBZ:BT2 is sure to stay in your Wii for awhile gathering over 120 characts and almost evey saga to complete in the adventure.
The enviorment is done pretty well but the characters were a bit of a disapointment. There has been no improvement at all on the character design. They lack facial expresions and there are very few sceens involing fast movements. But mostly the graphics are solid.
All voices can be heard very well and each punch is clearly taken. The rattling from your controller might dilude the sound effects. Also, it may be clear at most times but it can be very annoying. When you select the game on the Wii Channels Goku screams the title at you and then again when you get to the title screen.
Some people find these games repetitive, but there are many more combos and in-battle transformation. The way the remote works could have been a little more creative but attacks like the kamehameha have a similar movement compared to the remote. With multiplayer the experience is a lot more enhanced.
Maybe not the most addictive fighting game out there but it is still a long one. Completing the game will take you about a week just on adventure along with 12 tournaments. If your expecting a party game like the many other Wii games you might be out of luck and it might go to the back of your shelf rather fast.
Deffinetly the best of all the Dragonball Z games but not the best fighter. Most people will like the vast array of characters and arenas. I recomend getting this if you are a fan of the show, Budokai games or just the Wii because you will most likely be satisfied.
