Taking Down Enemy Patrols

You will find that troopers tend to patrol in pairs and some will be near each other. To take them down efficiently and quietly you can use the following methods:

• A light sniper rifle with a faster rate of fire.

• A heavy sniper rifle which you will need to line up your shot to penetrate both targets.

• A sniper rifle turret.

Regular troopers can be easily taken down with one well placed shot to the head. If however they are armoured you will need to use the following methods:

• A direct, clean hit to their throat where their armour is weaker

• A heavy sniper rifle to penetrate their helmets.

• Special AP (armour-piercing) bullets.

• An upgraded melee kill perk.

• Blast them to smithereens.

To help prevent alerting other enemies of your presence it is essential you have a silencer attached to your sniper weapon to give you high noise reduction and silent movement.

Eliminating Turrets

In Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts you will encounter turrets in some of the missions that will need to eliminate before you can proceed. This can be done by using the following methods:

• Hack them

• Use an EMP grenade

• Use a special EMP bullet

• Disable them with your drone.

Avoid Armoured Vehicles

Although rare, you will be able to easily avoid armoured vehicles (APCs) if you so happen to encounter them during a mission by using alternative passages or routes.

Choosinng a Sniping Perch

Make sure when you choose a sniping perch it positions you properly as doing so will mean you won't need mines, decoys, or other defenses to help prevent the enemy finding your location.

Easy Money Cheese

You will be able to 'cheese' for some easy money in the fourth mission which takes place in Arakcheyev Fortress. To make this mission easier it is advised that you unlock the sniper rifle turret (gadget) and the mask's 'Tracker' perk. Hide Dead Bodies

Always remove the body from sight when you take down your target and have the opportunity to do so. This will prevent early detection and also enable you to obtain some extra items such as ammunition, grenades, and money by looting the corpse.
