How do you get guns online while having a deathmatch and sorry for d dumb question

Its not a dumb question at all, it's actually pretty hard to figure out.
You put the guns you want the characters to have in their equipment inventory, then enter the online game.
A little note however:
Status restoring items such as medical kits, rations, and penzetamine are unusable online.
