Yes he gets the Buster Sword, that Angeal uses after you fight Angeal as cheating-is-good said. It is the only sword you get in the game other then his first sword

Lol, of course he gets a different weapon. This IS a Final Fantasy game after all. However, he only gets one extra weapon, and that is a very special sword from someone you may, or may not expect. Just keep playing the game, and wait till you fight Angel, you should then see what I mean.

Saddly you get three weapons.....the begining weapon, an umbrella, and the buster sword....and you get to use a gun if you choose, but that only happens for fun..
