Greaves of the Crusader

Is there a way of getting the Greaves of the Crusader without getting the curse attatched and if not, how do I get rid of the curse?

Ah, but you mean the curse of the Sword of the Crusader. Just follow the questline. I think you have to go pray at the chapel altar in the Cheydinhal chapel after receiving the sword and slaying the ghost of whats-his-name.

Or if your tlking about the gauntlets you have to wait until the end of the mission
