Can you get your child to grow into an adult sim? If you can how long does it take?

ANSWERS

You can't make them grow into an adult. It's impossible. I should know, I tried making them grow up like 50,000,000 times by takin' care o' them, ect. It just doesn't work.

When a child grows from a baby into a kit it can be played as a normal character.

After he or she is a kid always answer the phone when it rings! This means always have at least one person home at all times !!!

When you get a certain message your kid will grow into an adult.

It takes three sim days to raise your baby to a child, and unfortunately, your child cannot grow from a child to an adult. Stinks, donit?

Babies take three sim days to grow into children, however, I have not seen my children grow into adults. They can be sent to prep school (in bustin' out mode) or military school (both modes). But they will never come back. Also, a rumor is going around that if you make a baby (not using Create-A-Family) it will turn into an adult. I haven't seen it yet, so it's probably not true.
