How do you get to the Dark woods in the first chapter where the bridge is broken?

ANSWERS

I have played this game multiple times, and i cannot remember any broken bridge. Perhaps you could specify where you are stuck? Do you mean the first part where you just begin the game, and behind you you see a chest and woods beyond? If that is it, then you can only get to the chest at the left of two split roads (the road on the left has a saving point; the road on the right leads to the Moria crossroads. You might not see the road on the left, but look carefully. I missed it the first time i got there).

The searching of the Light Altars are part of your quest, so you should see blinking red dots on the map. Press square to zoom in and out. If you zoom out, you should be able to see exactly where the quest is, and where you are and which side you are facing. There are two Light Altars and one Dark Altar.

Hope you get along. It's a great game, don't regret spending tons on it!

Follow all the red dots and you will eventualy pass through them.
