Ok. The thunder rod is what ya looking 4. There is a mission from Maria stating that she has volunteered herself that who ever wins, gets her. When you get to the starting line, you have revealed the Thunderod.

Parked Locations:
The Hearse can be found behind the Hospital on Staunton Island. Just wait a few minutes, like 5-20, as it won't spawn right away. It looks like a Perennial (spelling), that has a long back with seats, except a Hearse has a long back with a coffin in it.

The Thunder Rodd can be found just when you enter Portland from the freeway bridge, head left and there should be a parking lot to your left on your first intersection (four-way road) that you see. In the parking lot there should be a Thunder Rodd in one of the parking spaces, which looks like a Buggy, except a little bigger wtih something bumpy over the wheels. I think it has lighting marks on it's sides too, so keep an eye out for that.

Mission Locations:
The Hearse can be found in "Morgue Party Candidate" by Donald Love. When you intercept or steal (same thing really), you bring it to the Pay n' Spray to get rid of the Level 3 Wanted Stars. I really don't know how else to fail the mission to keep the car. You can always try putting the car in your garage, and kill it. I think it will fail the mission, but don't worry, let the garage close, and open it again. The Hearse should be fine, and you can now drive it to the Love First Prize Giveaway thingy.

The Thunder Rodd can be found in the mission "Grease Sucho" by Ma Cipriani. After you win the race, run the Thunder Rodd until Sucho gets out of the car kill Sucho. When you are done, the Thunder Rodd should still be there and you can drive it to your garage. Just make sure not to wreck it, or bring it to the Pay n' Spray.
