Why can´t i swim fast?

I am in the part of the game when you must swim from one hole to the other with out the fast moving wall getting you. And I can´t do it!
<BR>No matter what I try I can´t swim fast enough. I keep pushing the R1 button for the speed burst. But I still can´t get there. Is the some thing I am doing wrong? Or am I just unco-ordinated?

Hi, This is one of those pain in the butt parts, Play with the burst/speed swim before you get down there, You have to hold R1 for a second or 2 then hit X, while your holding R1 Kratos should be making a groaning sound, It takes 2 R1 dashes to get to the first pit to dive down in, one R1 dash to the next pit and out, Goodluck

This part of the game is totally retarded and made too hard and frustrating. I'm on my second hour trying to out run this stupid wall and no matter what I do, I can't get to the second hiding place fast enough. I wish there were some real cheat codes to use so I could just by pass this very unfun part of the game.

Just passed that stage today, you will need to press R1' then press circle to swim fast again without waiting for 2 sec. The R1 again and circle till you pass it.
