So long as you stay consistant, this battle can be done with in no time. Its probably best to stock up on bombs before this battle, they will help in defeating him quicker. First, you should start out with Xiao, use her slingshot & shoot Dran while he's flying in the air. He will then land somewhere, but he won't be on the ground for very long, so run up to him & either throw a few bombs at him, or if you don't have any bombs use Toan and have him strike Dran with his sword. Dran will then get back up in the air and he will start fireing blasts at you. To avoid these blasts, run around the edge of the room while you're waiting for a good time to shoot him again with Xiao's slingshot. Its imperitive that you stay around the edge of the room because the blasts Dran will be shooting will start to destroy floor in the center of the room. Once you get shot a him again, keep repeating the process until you defeat him.
