Believe it or not, there is a way to auto-level in Final Fantasy XII. Of course, you need the right Experience, Gambits, and items.
Preparations
All people leveled 35+ is recommended, but it is possible to do it with levels 30+. This is needed so you can live while doing it.
I suggest, if you want to auto long, to have everyone have the license "Remedy Lore 3," the others aren't really needed, and many remedies. This is needed so you can cure Doom.
I suggest that you have many Phoenix Downs, so you can revive your leader before it pauses and asks you to switch party leaders, incase you run out of Remedies or accidentally get killed.
Now for Gambits, the most important part. These are simple.
Leader
Ally:Any = Stona
Ally: Party Leader = Remedy
Ally: Any = Esuna
Ally: Any = Phoenix Down
Ally: Any = Raise
Ally: HP < 30% = Curaga
Ally: HP < 70% = Cura
Foe: HP < 3,000 = Attack
Self/Self: MP <20% = Charge
Any others in party:
Ally: HP < 40% = Curaga
Ally: Any = Stona
Ally: Party Leader = Remedy
Ally: Any = Esuna
Ally: Any = Phoenix Down
Ally: Any = Raise
Self = Decoy
Ally: HP < 50% = Cura
Ally: Any = Haste
Foe: HP < 3,000 = Attack
Self/Self: MP < 20% = Charge
You must have all of these Gambits and Technicks to Auto my way.
Now, for the actual Auto process.
Story: Anytime after Stilshrine of Miriam.
Place: Stilshrine of Miriam
How to: Go to the Ward of the Sword-King, the T shaped hallway. Kill ALL enemies in there. Then, I suggest you go to the room with the Green Crystal. Kill it, and it should spawn a Save crystal. Use this in case you need to be healed. Then, rearrange the gambits to the gambits listed above. Turn them OFF. Then, wait 30 mins. Then, go back into the Ward of the Sword King. Go to the intersection. A monster called Neglamuur should appear. Turn your Gambits ON. Then, wait. You can keep the game on while it auto levels because Neglamuur summons infinite Ghouls that you kill with your special Gambits. You can keep autoing over night, or even more than 24 hours. Sometimes you may want to check to see if it pauses for you to switch leaders. Then, switch the leader, then switch back when the leader is revived. If you want even more XP, wait until you are at Old Archades. Then, but some Embriodered Tippets so the XP for your people is DOUBLED. Soon you'll have enough License Points to fill out your hwole License board. Remember to switch your party members so they all get good XP. If you want, you can equip the ones not in the current party with Golden Amulets so they get double LP, which they can earn even when they had no part in the kill. Remember, if you kill Neglamuur, you can always go back and kill him again, so don't fret.
I hope this helps you. Thanks for reading, and have a good time getting free level-ups.
In the Henne Mines, you will be ambushed by a group of 15 to 18 jellies in pithead junction A and B when you flick the switch. If you are at least level 25 and have access to the black magick Fira, you can devistate these jellies, which garner up to 1205 EXP, which will be between 368 and 404 Exp points for 3 people in your party. Plus, When you get to chain level 2 (simply go 2 zones away and then come back and flick the switch again, but you will have to go a different way each time as one gate closes and the other opens) they will drop yellow liquids in abundance, which are worth 531 gil a piece! AND get to chain level 4, and they drop teleport stones! If you have 3 embroided tippets and 6 golden amulets, the people that are doing the fighting will earn massive exp and the reserves will earn a nice amount of LP!
Happy Gaming!
On the near invinsibility hint if your player has a mist move do cure instead of cura if they don't have a mist move do cura that way you wont have to walk around for ages in other words instead of waiting to get 32 mp back up you just need todo 8 mp

Okay, theres an easier way to get more(and better) stuff! First, go to any dungeon(preferably one you don't DIE IN!), Second, Only kill one type of monster(It's Easier with your allies' gambits turned off), And Whala, the monsters drop a ton of good stuff!
P.S., There is an award in the sky pirates den for getting a certain number chain!

Ok, you need to be up to Balfonheim and gone through the Great Crystal to do this.
First thing you need is Excalibur( The Great Crystal)
Next thing you need is a White Mask (Absorbs "White" Magick)
All you need to do is equip your hardest hitter (for me it was Vaan) and Haste+Bravery him. Then Equip someone with a White Mask. Set a gambit on him/her for Ally-HP<10% Attack. Whenever your Characters have lower then 10% hp left the choosen individual will then strike that character 'healing' them (due to the effects of the White Mask) and if you Bravery+Hasted that person you'll most likely have close to or Max HP.
Another option would be getting a Dark Absorbing armor (like the Demon Shield) and giving someone a dark enchanted weapon.
I found this to be very helpful when I killed Yiazmat. I just had Vaan hit Balthier and Basch when they were below 70% HP. My gear was Maximillian everyone) and White Mask (everyone). I had Ultima Blade (Balthier), Excalibur (Vaan), Ragnarok (Basch), And Save The Queen (Fran, Ashe, Pinello). I took him down quite easily. Since all my healing was done by attacking and I had Vaan equipped with the Brave Suit, and Hermes Sandles; He was always Auto Hasted/Bravery. Making him an essential tool for taking down Yiazmat. He healed the others while they slowly but surely whittled down Yiazmat's whopping 50mil HP.
Hope I helped anyone out there.

I have already submitted an easy level up cheat but that was for lower leveled people but a better way is if you get the clan rank of head hunter buy a bunch of teleprtstones in the muthru bazaar and go to the tchita uplans. Once there go straight either way and clear the area then go back to the sae crystal and heal aftera couple of trips teleport to phon coast and sell all of the loot you have except you're teleport stones. Keep repeating this and ull do great.

When your walkin around it's always important to have someone with libra on so you don't run into any traps that could screw you up and see monsters level so you don't attack something too strrong.

In order to have virtually no trouble at all with this game you need to have all 6 characters strong. That way if one of your characters happens to fall in battle and you are running low on MP, you can easily just switch them out for another character and not worry about them being too weak to help. I follow a strict level up regime and it has never failed me. I currently have three files that I am playing (just to try different options on all 3) and all of my characters can take almost any monster in the entire game with no problem at all. To get the most out of it I suggest the following:
At level up switch out the following characters:
Vaan for Basch (and vice-versa)
Balthier for Ashe (and vice-versa)
Fran for Penelo (and vice-versa)
Also it is a good idea to have two white mages, one for each "party". I typically use Balthier and Ashe, but Fran and Penelo are very good options as well. It is better to have females as mages, since they end up with more MP than their male counterparts. (For example all of my characters are a level 71 and Vaan, Balthier and Basch only have 600 or so MP and Fran, Ashe and Penelo have over 700 MP.)
Another good idea is to keep Balthier and Fran with the same weapon types that they have when you get them at the beginning of the game. Yes, Balthier's attack power will always be lower than the rest of the party, but his attack power is being based upon how much damage he would do of he were to go up and physically HIT the monster with his gun, not from the amount of damage that his shot will take. Fran is always good with a bow and if you complete at least 75% of the hunts in the game you will recieve the assasin's arrows that will do an instant KO about 35% of the time. Also, this keeps you from relying solely on telekinesis to defeat flying monsters. Another solid option for using a bow is Basch. Vaan and Ashe are basically sword users only, whether it be one or two handed swords. Penelo is pretty flexible as well, but she is best with a dagger or a spear. Hope that this will help any who have questions as to whether or not it is good to have a reliable backup party.
When your fighting Chaos the Esper use your quickenings to get a succesion and kill the elementals and then use the rare magic scathe and over time if you keep healing you will you can get scathe at the nechrohol of nabudis from the hidden merchant

If you do not have esuna for your people you might need to stock up on alarm clocks, eye drops, gold needles, handkerchiefs, smelling salts, and echo herbs. In this battle quickenings wont really help you because you need all of the magic you can get. And when he uses spore fall you should back away from him so uwill less likely get affected. Finally you should use gambits on you're people so that when you get affected by confuse or something you will take care of it fast and you should also have raise and a bunch of phoenix downs.

On the dreadnought leviathan after the first boss and you rescue ashe there is a save chrystal in one of the cells. If you save you will get full health and magic for you're party. After you leave there alarms will go off and there will be a bunch of gaurds. Wen this happens just fight them until you're too weak then run back to the cells and heal on the save chrystal. Hope I helped =p.

In the beginning of the game there are monsters you don't want to attack and here they r:dino in the ester sands, werewolf in the giza plains, and dive talon in the wester sands.

If you are like me you die frequently against the bosses on the dreadnought leviathan heres some help. First before you think of fighting them make sure you're people are at least lvl 15. Second make sure all of you're people know cure. Third make sure you take care of the smaller people are dead or they will take you out fast. Last when you're first person goes down (not the guest) replace them don't waste time reviving. Hope I Helped

All you have to do is reverse on the boss and renew and he is dead. Boom! But most bosses are immune to reverse though:(

Ok, I messed up and I know this now! On my previous hint I said that you get the Golden Amulet from the Ixtab mark, but it is actually the Enkelados mark. Sorry for the mix-up!!!
No thumbs
yet
After defeating the Ixtab mark, high chief Zayulu will give you your reward and one of the items will be a golden amulet. This amulet will double the amount of LP that you get with every fight. After you recieve this then the merchant on the right at Mt. Bur-Omisace sells them and with enough gil you can buy one for the whole party!!! By level 53, if you have one for everybody, all license boards will be filled!!!!
For easier level-ups, the merchant in Old Archades (from Rabanastre who is "stuck for life") sells an accessory called the Embroidered Tippet. This item will double the amount of EXP earned after every fight!!! If you teleport to places such as Giruvegan, The Nabreus Deadlands, The Necrohol Of Nabudis, Or The Riodirana Cataract, these areas have the monsters with considerable amounts of exp, and you will level up really fast!!!!

Some boses from early in the game are hard for you rite? Most ppl say that you must be really high lvl to defeat them? Take Mimic Queen For example, ppl say taht you have to be lvl 10+ to be able to defeat her? Thats a big lie! I defeated her when I was only lvl 8. What about the the first esper, Belias, ppl say that you have to be like, lvl 25 to defeat him, I defeated him at lvl 19! How do you do it? You may ask. Well first of all, instead of training 3 characters first then focus on the weaker chars, I just alone trained the strong chars ( I prefer using Vaan (me), Basch, and ashe). First of all you select UR character and don't waste LPs trying to get gambit slots. Then select the gambits for you're other 2 chars, here is what I put while fighting Belias:
Basch: Ally hp<60% cure
Foe:leaders target attack
Ally: any protect
Foe: target attacking self attack
Ashe: Ally hp<60% cure
Foe:leaders target attack
Ally: any protect
Foe: target attacking self attack
LOL the last one is very stupid indeed... Anyways I didnt even have berserk at the time!!! Now, as for the weapons, I prefer using bow (me) , sword for basch cause he got lota hp ( 850 when lvl 18), and javelin for ashe. Also from the lisence board, focus mostly on magick related passive lisences, meaning licenses that make you cost less mp using magick or better efficiensy or such.
Get atleast 1 quickening on you're main. Use EQ that increases hp a little with alot of def ( I find these weapons at bazaar). Also when you battleing, don't let you're allies heal status effects, do it you're self! Let them mostly focus on heal hp and attacking. Since you have a bow, you don't have to stay close to attack, stay far to heal status and attack. One last thing is that, try to walk faster that you're allys so that you can attack and then run back letting you're allys to attack and not get hit.
