Having a bit of trouble with the tough as nuts fiends at Paranima Rift? Head back to Ozmone Plains via Golmore Jungle. Then from the save crystal, head west two areas to an area which is narrow and filled with human-bird hybrids called Wu's. Chain these Wu's for some easy EXP. An easy way to chain them is to get them into a big group and get two casters out into the active party. Then cast Aero on the big group of Wu - get two allies to cast Aero simultaneously - to kill them almost straight away. Any left still alive after your reign of terror can be simply attacked and be done with. As there are quite a few Wu in this area, and many continuously respawn, and they give you about 300 EXP a piece, it's a pretty good place to train. Either that, or you can go risk your miserable life with Yeti's at Paranima Rift.

Also, try to level up while you have Larsa in your party, as her unlimited supply of potions is handy and helpful. Do not go to the temple on Mt Bur-Omisace until you are around Level 25 at least, as you will lose Larsa upon doing so.
