Wat to DO IF U CANT BEAT A BOSS!
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
Some boses from early in the game are hard for you rite? Most ppl say that you must be really high lvl to defeat them? Take Mimic Queen For example, ppl say taht you have to be lvl 10+ to be able to defeat her? Thats a big lie! I defeated her when I was only lvl 8. What about the the first esper, Belias, ppl say that you have to be like, lvl 25 to defeat him, I defeated him at lvl 19! How do you do it? You may ask. Well first of all, instead of training 3 characters first then focus on the weaker chars, I just alone trained the strong chars ( I prefer using Vaan (me), Basch, and ashe). First of all you select UR character and don't waste LPs trying to get gambit slots. Then select the gambits for you're other 2 chars, here is what I put while fighting Belias:
Basch: Ally hp<60% cure
Foe:leaders target attack
Ally: any protect
Foe: target attacking self attack
Ashe: Ally hp<60% cure
Foe:leaders target attack
Ally: any protect
Foe: target attacking self attack
LOL the last one is very stupid indeed... Anyways I didnt even have berserk at the time!!! Now, as for the weapons, I prefer using bow (me) , sword for basch cause he got lota hp ( 850 when lvl 18), and javelin for ashe. Also from the lisence board, focus mostly on magick related passive lisences, meaning licenses that make you cost less mp using magick or better efficiensy or such.
Get atleast 1 quickening on you're main. Use EQ that increases hp a little with alot of def ( I find these weapons at bazaar). Also when you battleing, don't let you're allies heal status effects, do it you're self! Let them mostly focus on heal hp and attacking. Since you have a bow, you don't have to stay close to attack, stay far to heal status and attack. One last thing is that, try to walk faster that you're allys so that you can attack and then run back letting you're allys to attack and not get hit. :)

Credits

Bogus Report:
To be able to view the credits, you have to beat the game once. Although, you cannot go back once you stepped to the Bahamut, you can beat the last boss "The Undying" and let the credits show up.

win elder wyrm

Bogus Report:
I was playing against the elder wyrm and 2 treants and had to go give a friend a ride. I paused the game in the middle of the battle and came back about 15 minutes later and went back to the boss battle and it was almost over and the characters that I was using had hardly a scratch. I beat the boss. I had been having trouble with it before that.
Three things to do before a battle.
Verified by: Lord Mew
Bogus Report:
There are a lot of Hard bosses, and challenging enemies in this game, so to help you here are three tips. Make sure you remember these tips, because I'd like to think that they are Important.
1: IF you have the money to do so, go to a shop, and buy 99 of every item you can. Buy 99 potions, 99 antidotes, 99 Phoenix Downs, 99 Remedies, just buy 99 of everything you can from the items menu. It will come in handy if you have 99 X-potions on you, or 99 Phoenix downs, when your going up against a hard boss.
2: Before each battle, be sure to cast the buffing spells on all of your characters. This means before each battle, cast Protect/bublle/haste/shell/etc on all your characters, so that they will be pumped, and harder to take down.
3: Before you engage the enemy, use the spell 'Dispel' if you have it, doing this will take away the enemies Advantages such as Protect/shell or whatever buff he has. A monster may seem to be too strong for you, but simply casting Dispel will even the odds, and it might surprise you as to how weak your enemy is now.
I'm not saying that you will always win, if you follow these 3 things, but it might help you lose alot less.
final boss

Before going to the bahamaut I suggest you make 4 of your characters lvl 50 orhigher. This is a very long fight since their are 4 boss battles, with no save crystels! You can recharge a little bit after the first fight but thats it
Site 11 key
Verified by: Lord Mew
Bogus Report:
In the anteater hunt, in the Lhusu mines, you have to rescue some stupid kids that ran into the monster infested mine. After you kill the Anteater, go back to the part of the room where there's a huge opening in the floor, and you should see the kids(it's the area right before the anteater). They will say that they dropped the key, and that it probably washed up on a shore some where far away.
After you go back and talk to their mom to get the reward, find a gate crystal, and warp to the Phon coast. Then go North, and you should be on a hill with a man sitting against the wall. Talk to him, and he should say that he fell from the city Bhujerba, and landed here. Then look to the right of him, and there should be a glowing light. Click on it, and you'll receive the site 11 key, which you need in order to reach Gilgamesh the second time.
Lindwyrm's location.
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
The lindwyrm is a rank v hunt that you can do after completeing draklor laboratory. The petitioner is named fermon( I think) and he is the guy in old archades that is surrounded by kids. He tells you the lindwyrm will only come out on cloudy days, and is located in the highlands of the tchita uplands.
Someone made a mistake because the Lindwyrm actually appears in the garden of life's circle, in the tchita uplands.
That should help people out.
omega mk xii
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
Omega mk xii is the strongest monster in the game, and is the last hunt that montblanc will give you. To fight you need to have fought, and killed the hell wyrm( 8 million hp, sochen cave palace) and accepted the yiazmat hunt. You don't have to fight yiazmat( 50 million hp, ridorana cataract coliseum) just accept the hunt.
To get the hunt for yiazmat you have to beat the hell wyrm, and kill every other hunt in the game. Except the seer, and the gill snapper which both are a pain in the arse to find.
Omega is located in the great crystal in giruvegan(ugh) a little ways away from where ultima is. When you see him, you might laugh, I did. He's only a giant mimic like the mimic queen.
note: if you go to see him before killing the hell wyrm he will be there, but he will be curled up into a ball shape.
If you kill him, and all the other hunts you will get the highest ranking in clan centurio( higher than knights of the round)
peace.
Useful advice.
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
Take my advice. Don't even bother trying to get the esper Ultima, it is not worth it. Unless your playing a 100% completion file, and your trying to get everything do not bother. Take it from a guy who just spent the last 3 hours getting to her. Beating her, and becoming extremely disappointed.
She is not even good.
After I got her, I had to find my way back which must took an hour or more. By the time I got out of giruvegan I was cussing at everything. And wanted to chuck the game across the room.
Save yourself the trouble, forget about Ultima!
There are 12 other espers you can get.
Did I also mention that there are 100's of undead, and dragons, and other monster on levels 60+? And there's only one save point, which is located right before ultima.
If you want to get her go ahead and find a video on youtube or something. Other wsie stay away from the great crystal in giruvegan!
After gilgamesh.
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
After you fight Gilgamesh for the 2nd time, there will be a sword that he leaves behind, that will be stuck into the ground. Don't bother going over to click on it, because you can't get it.
This will save you some time.
Where to find the pylraster.
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
After the Pharos mission, you can do a hunt for a giant dinosaur called the Pylraster, and the petitioner is Rikken. The guy with long hair that's in front of Reddas' manse. He will tell you about the dinosaur, but he doesn't know where to find it.
Make sure your prepared, then go to a yellow crystal, and tele-port to the Pharos of Ridorana. Then simply go out the front door so your in the area where you fought the zombie dragon. Then go down the steps and there is the Pylraster.
Be careful, he is hard!
Basch a father?!
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
After you have Basch, and escape Nalbina, go to Rabanastre, and talk to Montblanc the clan head. He will give you rewards for killing the fire mane, and mimic queen.
When he gives you the reward for the mimic queen, he will say a lady gives you this for helping her father escape Nalbina, and proving that he was innocent. Which is Basch.
Wonder who the daughter is.
And my friend thought that it was Ashe, but it's not, because Ashe had gotten taken away by the imperial soldiers, and was with judge Ghis. Who you fight on the Leviathan.
Just though people might be interested to know this.

Good ways to gain exp:
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
Not quite strong enough to beat that one badass who makes you want to rip your hair out? Well then, I may be able to help you out. Stuck on Firemane: When you first saw that fireball, I bet you were expecting a Bomb for an opponent, right? Wrong. Okay, when I beat that fiery stallion, I had trained to level 10 in the Garamscythe waterway. This also helped out later in the game, and you get a lot of liscense points. I hope you bought antidotes beforehand, because Firemane has a habit of poisoning you with it's bushfire attack.
Stuck on Mimic Queen: Go to a place where you can find mimics devouring the electricity. Go ahead and kill everything except the big mimics. When it starts to get dark, wait. In a moment, you'll be reliving Dawn of the Dead. Just kill zombies and small mimics until you are about level 13. If you haven't already, try to purchace a quickening on the license board for all of your characters. Don't fight the queen until you do. When you fight her, use your quickenings right away. If you're lucky, you may have already killed her. If not, get your magic up by running around, or using an ether, and pummel her with blizzard.
When returning to Rabanastre, Stay in the desert for as long as possible. With four party members, you can decimate the wolves and cactoids. DO NOT GO TO RABANASTRE!! You will lose your team if you do. Also, stay away from the wild saurian. (T-rex) He is level 34 with 6095 health, high defense, and a big appetite. That mimic queen was level 10. So, why are you here? LICENSE POINTS! Get at least 600 before you leave.
Lhusu mines: Fight only skeletons and skull defenders. Keep chaining your kills for more exp., items, and the occasional chain level. Also, after about 13 kills, Sometimes you'll restore health when you pick up an item Do most of your fighting on the second bridge. My chain record is 225. Get to at least level 17, then proceed. Let's skip ahead, because if you followed my instructions, you should be practically invincible until the Ogir-yensa Sandsea. Beat the crap out of all monsters. Make sure to bring some teleport stones. If you don't have any, the Uhrutan Yensa will drop some with enough chain kills. Make sure to find an area that has a save crystal and a moogle. Talk to the moogle. REMEMBER WHERE HE IS! Head towards the tomb. Eventually, you will see a bunch of Uhrutan Yensa fighting an Uhrutan eater. (Titantoise) Don't attack. Hold down R2 and watch the Yensa go to work. Only fight after The Yensa are dead. Use quickenings to end it quickly, (No pun intended) and Flee to the moogle to avoid injury. Talk to the moogle and do as he says, until you get an eksir berry. Go to the tomb and fight the Garuda. Use the berry on the Garuda to knock off 15% of it's health, then destroy it with quickenings. Go up to the tomb and heal.Use the teleport stone I told you about, and go to Rabanastre. Look! Vossler is still with you! That will make things easier. Go the Garamscythe Waterway and save your game at the crystal. Make sure your characters have at least 2 Quickenings each. Go through the exits on the right side of the gate terminal. The enemies are really strong, (At least level 30) so only use quickenings to fight. Stay near the Save crystal to restore health and MP. The Malboros give about 750 to 1000 exp points to each character, (Around 2903 to 3087 total) except Vossler, being a guest. The Lizards Also give pretty good exp. Level up until you can beat them with ease, then beat the crap out of Raithwall's tomb! Hope I helped!
Easy money

Bogus Report:
First of all make sure you have sight unseeing and poach. Then go to a place with strong enemies and cast blind on two of your characters. Make sure on your gambits you can't rndomly attack and to hp crical fos you use poach and under tht you have self chrcter status blind you use sight unseeing. Now your 2 blind people wil reduce your foes health to critical and then your guys will use poach and you get a lot of items this way but no experience. Then sell sell sell and you will end up with a lot of money

Tips for begginers
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
Whenever you are new or old to Final Fantasy, there are always a few hood tips that you should know about. Here i'm going to teach you a few good steps before getting into this game.
1 The License Board
The license board is a new system that lets you develope your character as you wish with weapons, white magick and other useful skills. Though, be careful to pick because you get License Points to send so try to be careful and think wich abilities, white magicks and other things that you might need in the game.
2. Leveling up your charachter
You may level up to a certain level before getting into a certain boss, or else you will gett ass kicked by it. Try level up as much as you can by defeating enemies and accomplish new hunts.
3. Clan Ranking
The clan ranking system is also a new feature in the game. Everytime you'll get a special rank, new items arrive in the Bazaar.
4. Selling your drops
Sell your drop items! They are useless in the game. You can get a good ammount of gold if you wait a bit when you slaughtering enemies. Go to a shopo and sell your drops.
Easy money and levels in Golmore Jungle
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:
When you first get to Golmore Jungle simplye circle the first bit as the panthers drop Couerl Pelts which sell for 495gil each and you get around 250 exp from every enemy you defeat, keep away from the glowing dogs they will kill you easily at this point. I got all my characters from lv 25 to lv 30 in an hour and had over 50,000gil worth of loot. When there are no more Pnathers, Malbroos and chimeras to fight simply go bak to ozmone plaine and through the sunlit path and then go back so that all the monsters will respawn. If you have the time and the paitience get to the fourth chain level with the Panthers as they will drop between 2 and 4 couerls pelts at a time and may even drop a luxary pelt which is worth evem more. Hope this helps.
Get the DEATHbringer

Bogus Report:
Once you've got the key to enter back into Barhiem passage, do so. Head north to the teleport stone and save, then go back south and turn right you should enter special op sec 5. The monster's here are strong so just run, when you see a Adamantoise turn right you will see a big rock, you are looking for a chest. When you open the chest you should get a rare game Ithuno, ( if it dosen't appear restart), then get everyone to steal, once you have the Deathbringer run!
