To be honest you can beat her within this level. Now if you have diablos juat keep summoning and sooner or later it will die out and don't use thunder types because it can heal ceberus and it's a waste of time. other GFs will work well too, like shiva, leviathan and you can draw ceberus from gargantua if you don't wish to fight him.

Wait a minute, what is so bad with the monsters leveling up with you? If it provided anything, it would be a good challenge since the monsters would not be stupid and weak, but actually be strong just like your characters so that you could grow stronger faster. I know that you do not want to level up, but if you want to actually beat the Guardian Force Cerberus, then you should at least level up your characters till they reach level Twenty, or Twenty-Five. After that, all you need to do is get the Guardian Force called Diablos by using the magical lamp. Use Diablos, he will completely own Cerberues. You just need to keep using him, and every once in a while throw in Ifrit, and Shiva. I made the the mistake of using Quetzcoatl and it healed him, do not use thunder. Hope this helps.

The easiest way to beat Ceribrus is to have Levithan from Norg. Use levithan's auto-potion and use it on squall. Get alot of ultimas!!!!

I found that if you use carbuncles ruby light, Cerberus uses dispel alot more often trying to remove your reflect status wasting a few of his turns. I kept using carbuncle and hammered away at him until he died, oh and if you can or if you haven't already stock up on quite a few dispels before you fight him (you can get them from one of the monsters there, it looks a bit like a tiger crossed between a spider) and dispel his triple when he casts it, stopping him from being able to cast three spells in one go. Hope this helps

Heres what I did: use two people as healers, junction quez to one healer, and para to the other, then junction the rest of the GF to squall, and let him attack the entire time. Use one healer to draw magic when you don't need them to heal, and the other will probably have to heal the entire time. Junction auto for defense to all characters except for the person drawing, and have that person on auto-magic.
The battle commands should look like:
Squall: heal 1: heal 2(draw):
Attack Attack attack
Gf Magic draw
Item item item
Magic draw magic

MAKE SURE TO HEAL AFTER EVERY ROUND, IF POSSIBLE. May use quake which could kill low hp (700-1000 damage, I think) but if you keep healing it should leave even the lower characters with 100 hp.
*full life will be helpful too, and make sure to arrange the healers magic to recover first!

What a load of horse dung, You don't need to be over level 25 to beat him I just killed him easily with squall on 23 zell on 17 n selphie on 14. Just use your gf.

Guest answered:

You can also draw triple from him. If you stocked up on demis you can use three demis with one character. It will deplete his life much faster than diablos. After triple is cast use carbuncle to keep him pre-occupied.Once the demis start doing around five hundred damage just hammer him with gfs and if you have them ultima will be very effective.

Guest answered:

In my case,I only use 1 time of squall's LB then KO cerberus already, tat time my squall's gunblade is punisher.

Guest answered:

Damn thing killed me in 2 hits back to back before I was even able to attack, 4 times before it let me actually let me fight him. He can be ass. It's easier to just get him later from Gargantua.

icecube.juanico answered:

All GFs junctioned to Sqaull. Counter for his ability. Cast Haste to him one time. And that's about it. Won't take 10 hits and you'll obtain Cerberus.

Guest answered:

I kept using my gfs and healed when I needed too
