Question for Final Fantasy VII
Will the Gameshark codes for Final Fantasy VII work with Gameshark 2 ver. 4 on the PS2? I no longer have my original playstation but still have my original gameshark but on the PS2 there is no port for it. Can I enter the codes in and have them work?

If there is no port then you can't get them in. But if there was they would probably work.

No you cant. That Gameshark is for playstation games only and therefore it wont work on the PS2. Sorry!!!

The playstation game shark is a disk. What port does a playstation have and a ps2 doesn't is the real question. The game shark disk does work on the ps2 but sometimes it may mess up. I have used my game shark on my ps2 a number of times. It also does work on my ps3. If you need to get a new system I recomend the ps3. It is the best system so far that playstation has come out with. If you can't aford the ps3 you can get a ps1 at just aboute any pawn shop. The ps1 is the only other good system playstation makes.

I know what you mean. Ps1 GameShark was a box that plugged into the back of the PlayStation. It was beftthey redid the smaller cheaper psone unit. It won't on ps2 nor can you load codes into ps2 GameShark for ps1 games.
