Ok... When you have to go to corel go through the mountain path then you will notice that a train is leaving with the huge materia!

Cid will imedatly go inside the reactor and bring our a train to catch theres with, all you need to do is press square and circle when you catch up to it you have to stop it, but be warned if you are not a high level you will not survive this because there will be high level monsters.

When you stop the train a little boy will hand over the ultima materia other wise you have to buy it for 1 mill. Hope this helps!
