Seloect "take a ride" in vegas and select any car and find an occupied police car and when you press up + triangle a message will say "change cars and get out of there!". It means nothing but it's a message that escaped from the mission "beat the train".

Probably the best way to get rid of cops(on easy medium or hard) is to weave through cars and tele poles. The "cops" were programmed to follow you or to moderatly follow you, and when you do that the cops may come up to you right or left side and you would be able to move them into a pole(example: if your'e in a median and a police car is at your right side, move right a little to drive the cop(s) car(s) into the telephone pole, if there is one, otherwise resort to a fence, tree, etc.) or you could, if you are a very skilled driver, weave through tight traffic down a narrow or busy area. That way the cops would get trapped and destroy themselves. This Cheat/hint would work better on Driver 2 instead of Driver, because how the game differs on both.

select your city and your car,when start the game in the mode take a ride,stole a car that you haven't and save the game in mode "save opitions" and so! is easy to make.

In Las Vegas, the two parallel roads that go out of downtownthat connect with upper something, on intersections sometimes there are pathways up over the street, you can drive up there. But if you go up the stairs fast enough, you'll jump over the wall. If you get out right before you jump over the wall, you will see you car go crashing into the street without damage, even if it hits another car. I did that once and both cars flipped on their roofs.

To get Chicago's secret car follow these steps:

1) Go to the baseball field in Wriglyville (it's at the top-left corner).

2) Go up to the ticket stand and press triangle. A gate will open.

3) Go in the gate, get out of your car, and go up the steps.

4) Follow the tunnel until you find the car. It is yellow with two black stripes down it's top, and it looks like an old Ford Mustang.

When in free ride mode (IN CHIGAGO) make your way forward without crashing, stopping or getting chased by the police.

You'll soon make it to a bridge. Drive up the bridge (FULL SPEED) and whilst in the air, press up & triangle and you'll get of the car.

50% of the time your car will sink into the ground and after that, cars will be flying and sinking.

Go to the garage and ask Mike.

In the map of Havana there should be a ferry on a major hiway. What you do is find a car or bus to jump.

When you have lined your car up carefully with the ramp go back and get a really good run up, then drive as fast as you can towards the ramp that goes onto the ferry.

As soon as you hit the rump press the forward and the triangle button to exit your car.

You should get out just in time to see your car or bus bob up and down in the water and then sink!

When you get to the top of the map there is a stretched c on it's side.

If you drive to the left side of the sea, on the right look for a gate.

To the left of the gate is a building. get out of the car and walk up to the side of the building.

Walk all the way to the end and there is a switch on the path. it is very hard to see when driving.

This is why some of you have not been able to get it.

When you drive through the gates that have just opened, drive to the end of the compound and at the end on the right is the semi.

Have a nice time driving.

OK, if you want to know how to win most or all missions, here is how you do it: First do the mission you want to complete.

After getting enough information that tells you how to do this mission, restart and then you can complete the mission.

Believe me, I've done this tons of times and have beaten the game 3 times because of this procedure.

Hidden Car in Chicargo
Look at the top of the map and you will see a sqaure with the letter 'P' in it.

Drive there and you will see a gate. Drive round and there should be a ticket booth.

Press triangle on it and the gate should open. Go throught the gate and up the stairs.

When you reach the top turn right and keep going down the ramp. At the bottom you will see a Black and Yellow Car.

For all you people who think there is no semi in rio there is right up top at the u shaped turn in road that runs along the top there will be a fence on each side of a building on the ocean side somewhere along the building there should be a switch flick the switch and Hey Presto you now have unlocked the semi

On havana I was just riding around at night and I drove into a very
narrow road, it went straight with only one right turn.

A bus came down the road on the right and continued going straight, I thought at this point it would crash but instead it went straight through the building in front of it.

After you open the secret door dont go to the tunnel bear off to the right and there will be a hole in the ground(you will need (dont fall in it if you have a lot of damage).

To fall in it and there is a red light to the side of the wall get out of the car and hit triangle and get the car with the pink roof(its fast)the lift will bring you back up (once the lift is up it don't come back down)

IF YOU ARE FED UP WITH YOUR CAR THEN WAIT UNTIL THE POLICE AREN'T AROUND THEN PRESS TRIANGLE & UP WHICH LETS U OUT OF THE CAR THEN WALK TO A CAR U WANT AT THE DOOR OF IT PRESS UP & TRIANGLE...!

When you go to the seceret underground base in havanna you go to the bottem of the bace and to get the minni car you go to the wall and you will see a gray box on the wall with a red little sqare in it.

Use the action butten (triangle) and the platform will come down and then you can get in the minni car.

In take a ride go to chicago and go to the bridge that goes up and down that the boats go through it, when its going up or down go as fast as u can but be quick and when u ramp off of it press triangle and ure guy will jump out and the car will go flying in the air....



when i did it my car never came back i sware its a good hint but it works sometimes

When you are in Las Vegas go to the airport (on the bottom of the map).

When you are facing to the north you will see on the map a road that turns right, follow it and you will see a wall with a ramp over it, jump over it and you have found a secret area, where you can stunt with your car!

Also, in Rio there is a town called "Centro" there is a secret base ther but it is not marked on the map.

Find the secret base then there should be a helicopter in there press the triangle button and your in! I haven't found the base yet, but if you know where it is at please email me! Ramp, then fly out of the car-

Go to a good place to ramp, I prefer Lakeside in Vegas, SPEED as fast as you can then press up, then triangle (like how you get out of the car)

This isn't relley a cheat or tip. THis is for Las vagas, If you go to the west side of the city and in to "lakeside".

You should find a house which is used in a mission (the car bomb).

If you go to the door and press triangle you should here a door bell. Its a nice touch to a brilliant game.

To lose the cops when they're chasing easily, u have to drive your car top speed.

Make sure the cops are right behide u and not to close ,then hold square,triangle,circle and the cops will ram the back of your car.

u will not be damaged that much, the cops car will be damaged a lot.

note:sometimes the cop will be dead. then get out of your car, if the cops are not dead do the process again.

The cheat about the switch on the far right of the church (where you go down the fin archway) is'nt true.

Get the buick in chicago.

Take a ride in chicago. At the top of the map you will see a place called wriggleyville, go there. When you get to the ball park go to the north-west of the park, go up to where it says "tickets" office and press triangle. Then go to the entrance and go inside. Go up the stairs turn right follow it around until you find the car.

Morris minor in havana.

take a ride in havana. look on your map, you will see a road that seems to go to nowhere follow that road. you will come to a building follow the wall along the right handside until you come to a few trees in the trees is a switch. Once you have pressed it, go back to the end of the road and go inside the opened gates. you will find a passage underground, follow it and you will soon find the mini. press the switch and enjoy the ride!

Secret car in las vegas.

When you start drive all the way down to the 'tropicana' area and then go near the small 's' turn, drive around this area and you will see an open gate and a closed one. Go through the closed one and press the switch that is there it will open the other gate. Go through the now open gate and behind a building you will find a fast pick-up truck.

semi-truck in rio.

As you look at the rio map, you will see a hump like road at the top. when you get to the hump, go right to the middle and face north, you will see a building, with fences either side. On the west is a fence with two white links and then turns to black. the switch is to the right of the building, if you reach the fence on the right you have gone too far. You will find the truck inside.

If the cops are on your tail, I found out a good way to lose them.

When cops are chasing you, battle them right there.

Turn around and ram into the cop nonstop. Soon the cop will be dead from ramming into it so much.

Get out of your car and get into another...do it again!

It's not really a hint or tip it's more a glitch. When you go to the soccer stadium the one that has a P on it.

Park your car out side the tickets shop and then get a ticket then you will see your car has disarperd.

If it dosn't work park your car ferther away from were you get the tickets.

This is not really a cheat, but its a good laf. Pick Havana then drive to the fort tunnel.When you come out of the tunnel, dont go straight on, turn round and drive on the grass till u come to a road.Follow the road and(if u can) get a bus.When u come to a kinda hut thing, drive in and get a side view.Drive up to the edge(dont worry if its not close enuf)anyway, when youve parked it, get out and get another car, drive that in and push the other one in.Sometimes the car you shoved in will bounce.
p.s. IF YOU DRIVE IN IT WILL END.
p.p.s It makes it a whole lot easier if u dont have police following you,but if youre clever you can knock the cops in too.

At one point you should see an elivator in the middle of the rode. Drive into it.

It should take you under grond.Down there should be a wendys down there.Drive into it`s walls.

There IS a blue semi in Rio. I have beaten driver2 and found all four secret cars. The semi is one of the secret cars.

Go to take a ride, go to Rio, and pick any car you want. Look at the top of the map for a piece of the road that looks like the following:

____/'''''''\_____ Drive there and if you look hard, on the northern side of the road, there should be a switch.

Press the triangle button while right in front of the switch to open a gate by the building on the northern side of the road.

Once you get in the gate, if you drive along the barriers to your right, you should eventually come to the semi.

Trust me, this will not be a waste of your time. If the directions aren't specific enough, post a question.

If anyone needs help with the game, or finding the other secret cars just post something.

This is not really a cheat but something fun to do.

Go to Goast town and drive to the tracks.

Drive along the tracks until you get to the end (it doesnt mtter witch side you go to) then run into the train and depending on witch side you are on your car will do one of two things...


1. your car will stop but the wheels will keep moving

2. Your car will violently bounce off and go, spinning and flipping.

I'm a stuck at the level of the four car and you have to find out the disk.

Is there some cheats that can help me to beat this level?

Im stuck on the 3rd level in Havana or whatever level where you need to total the truck throwing bombs.

For some reason i cant keep up with him and when I do, very little damage occurs even if i pound him!

So I was wondering if there is any hints or tips to let me beat it?

On havana go right to the west of the island.

There is a turning just before the tunnel go up it.

There is a wall blocking it,turn right there is a poll,press triangle and the wall will move.

Go through the maze, at the end there is a red button,press triangle.

You have got the mini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are trying to lose police swerve around polesand it will make the police crash into them
